ROLE : SAP LE / WM + Interface Specialist

BASE LOCATION : Hyderabad
PURPOSE :
The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in SAP, particularly in supply chain management, with a strong emphasis on interfaces. As a subject matter expert, the candidate will provide support, troubleshooting, and guidance for SAP processes, focusing on logistics and sales functions. A comprehensive understanding of supply chain business processes and their integration within SAP is essential for this role.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assist users with SAP LE functions such as delivery and shipment processing, shipment costs, accruals, and integration with external TMS systems, ensuring smooth operational workflows.
Provide ongoing support for SAP WM functionalities, including picking and put away strategies, RF (radio frequency) functions, cycle counting, and integration with PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution).
SAP and TMS Integration Support: Ensure the continued integration of SAP LE/WM with external TMS and other systems, managing data flow and resolving integration issues.Logistics & Supply Chain Process Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain business processes, ensuring SAP configurations and solutions are aligned with evolving business requirements.Data Integration Support: Manage data integration between SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring seamless data exchange and system interoperability.Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting SAP LE/WM issues, providing timely resolution of system errors and functional issues reported by end-users.User Training & Documentation: Assist in developing user guides, training materials, and training sessions for new features, ensuring effective user adoption and knowledge transfer.Continuous Process Improvement: Work with business and IT teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimizations within the SAP LE/WM environment.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (Logistics, Supply Chain, IT) to support day-to-day business operations and address issues related to SAP functionality.Support SAP System Updates: Participate in system upgrades and patches, ensuring compatibility with existing processes and providing testing and validation support post-upgrade.ABAP and Debugging Support (Optional): While not mandatory, basic knowledge of ABAP and debugging skills will be beneficial for resolving technical issues and performing minor customizations in the system.Cross-Functional Support Coordination: Work with other SAP functional teams to ensure cross-functional system integration and provide support for complex business processes across SAP modules.Process Enhancement Requests: Assist with gathering requirements and providing support for functional enhancements or customizations in SAP, including evaluating fit-gap analysis and potential solutions.Excellent Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that issues are understood and addressed in a timely and clear manner, both orally and in writing.
QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES :
EDUCATION : Any Degree / PG, this position needs to have a good technical and problem solving and problem sighting mindset.
EXPERIENCE :
6+ years of experience in SAP SD/MM/LE is mandatoryMust have worked on support and enhancement projects may as consultantMust have held roles of support consultant in SAP and experience in handling P1 issuesStrong experience in Business Analysis, SAP experience in MM processes like standard procurement, Inter Company flows, Subcontracting and integration with other modulesShould have worked on various processes of SD module like Sales Document Processing, Basic Functions, Pricing, Shipping, Logistics, and Billing ProcessesExcellent hands-on experience on Material Master, Vendor Master, Inventory Management, pricing procedures, integration with other modulesHands on experience in SAP LE – Delivery and Shipment processing, Shipment Costs, etcStrong working knowledge of EDI standards not necessarily technical expertiseWell versed with technical aspects of various transactions used in supply chainDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issuesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and support users effectivelyProject management experience is a plusExcellent communication skills - the ability to communicate well with staff at all levels, both orally and in writingAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
