ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Solution Sr. Specialist maintains contact with customers, user groups, end users, and the entire SAP ecosystem (partners, analysts, the press). The goal is to gain an in-depth understanding of current and future requirements. They consolidate trends in technology and the global public sector industry, market research data, and customer requirements to define areas of future growth for SAP NS2, develop solution road maps including the associated revenue plans.
In this role within the NS2 GTM team, your key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with SAP Ariba product, Solution Strategy and Solution Management to identify solutions and key innovations for Tier One or Tier Two Go-To-Marketing (GTM) Launch Programs Orchestrating the end2end GTM Launch Programs, including but not limited to managing timelines of deliverables and GTM activities across cross-functional teams. Working with the field organization in the market units to build and execute the GTM plan, ensuring relevance, market value and the successful adoption of the solution Work with cross functional stakeholders, such as Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Adoption, Marketing and Knowledge & Education to ensure new solutions and innovations are successfully launched and executed. This includes: Delivering within the required launch project plan Articulating the value to customers and prospects Supporting customer facing teams to have successful conversations on the new solution, leading to increased sales and, or adoption of feature releases Ensuring that launch materials are available to internal stakeholders via the management of launch SharePoint pages
WORK EXPERIENCE:
5+ years professional business experience in enterprise software product management, sales, sales enablement, industry operations, corporate development, experience driving complex projects and drive revenue topics Experience in program planning and / or evaluating new business development opportunities in new or emerging markets. 8+ years of SAP Ariba Strategic Procurement products Multi-year experience engaging with customers, SAP field teams, development teams and partners Strong experience in operating in virtual teams Strong organizational skills and/or project management skills 5+ years of SAP work experience. Preferably experience in ERP, SFSF, Ariba, BTP and Cloud, cross sector experience (sales, development, consulting, services)
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Proficient understanding of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets, and competition Broad knowledge of SAP other solutions (S/4 HANA, Ariba, SuccessFactors, BTP, etc.) Strong customer focus, presentation skills and business acumen Understanding of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud -based commerce / business networks. Proven ability to build strong relationships at every level of the organization and understanding how to motivate and influence individuals outside of their direct span of control Ability to leverage internal SAP-network across the globe Willingness to work at both strategic and tactical levels Very good communication and presentation skills Presales or Consulting skills are preferable Strong knowledge of best business practices and business planning. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university, years of experience may be use in lieu of a degree.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 129800 - 220900(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
