Our major Oil & Gas (O&G) client is seeking a Payroll Consultant to join their team in The Woodlands,TX for a long-term assignment.
The company is preparing to launch a new payroll system in December 2025. We are seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Analyst to provide ongoing support and configuration for the existing SAP ECC US Payroll and S4 Time System. This role will serve as Tier 1 payroll systems support, working closely with the Payroll Technology Lead and supporting the payroll team during the transition period.
Key Responsibilities: Act as Tier 1 support for payroll system issues related to SAP ECC US Payroll and S4 Time. Configure and update the payroll system to meet evolving business and compliance requirements. Collaborate with the payroll team and technology lead to ensure seamless support during the implementation of the new payroll system. Assist with year-end processing and payroll-related audits. Provide technical and functional support to supplement existing payroll operations. Ensure compliance with U.S. payroll laws and state-specific tax regulations. Requirements: Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP ECC Payroll experience (US Payroll configuration and troubleshooting). Deep understanding of U.S. payroll legislation and state-specific tax rules. Proven ability to troubleshoot payroll system issues independently and efficiently. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-sufficient and able to operate with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment. General SAP experience is not sufficient—must have deep expertise in SAP ECC US Payroll.
