Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP Principal Functional Architect – Build Lead who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Role: SAP Principal Functional Architect – Build Lead

Job Level: Associate - Director

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

The annual salary for this position is between $156,500/year to 183,500/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Functional Architect with 18 to 20 years of expertise as build lead. This role is crucial for driving our strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless integration across modules.

Role Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating detailed project plan for design and build phase for the SAP S/4HANA Global Template

• Lay groundwork for the offshore team in terms of environment readiness, access, extension standards and spring plan so that they can hit the ground running

• Coordinate between design/functional and build/technical teams so that the teams are equipped to deliver the backlogs for each of sprints for the baseline config and RICEFW

• Create daily and weekly burndown reports to track progress of Sprint

• Work with various teams to unblock challenges and mitigate risk so that teams can deliver per their sprint plan

• Present status to various stakeholders about sprint progress

Work with Data Migration, cut over and Test Leads to support them as needed

Role Qualifications:

• Experience in agile methodology and managing sprint cycles

• Ability to lead large teams and experience in SAP S/4HANA program implementation as SAP Program Manager

• Exposure to RICEFW development life cycle and technical development best practices

• Ability to create detailed project plan, RAID Log, Sprint burndown charts

• Ability to work with SAP functional and technical teams to be the bridge between them and facilitate RICEFW development and testing

• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

• Ability to set, manage and meet expectations with stakeholders.
