This position requires a deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations and procedures, combined with expertise in procurement-related IT systems. The ideal candidate will leverage their knowledge to gather requirements, optimize procurement workflows, and implement procurement processes and provide technical support for systems such as SAP SRM, Bid Evaluation and Optimization, EDI, and 3PL. The role demands a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between procurement operations and IT capabilities, driving innovation in federal acquisition processes. A strong background in federal procurement regulations, coupled with proficiency in procurement IT systems such as SAP SRM and SAP ECC, is essential for success in this position. **Responsibilities:** + Enhance SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to streamline procurement processes for our client. Provide expert guidance on federal procurement regulations while maximizing SRM's potential for strategic sourcing and spend analysis, contributing to the team's efforts in implementing system enhancements. + Facilitate the seamless integration of SAP SRM with existing systems, including SAP ECC, EDI, and 3PL platforms. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure accurate data flow and optimal performance across the procurement ecosystem, focusing on gathering requirements and offering technical support for the client's integration needs. + Leverage expertise in federal acquisition regulations and agency-specific policies to support the sourcing process. Utilize SAP SRM's RFx and bid management functionalities to ensure compliance with procurement processes and harness historical data for informed decision-making, aiding the team in optimizing the client's sourcing activities. + Spearhead e-procurement initiatives by maximizing SAP SRM's catalog management and shopping cart functionalities. Ensure proper integration with Bid Evaluation and Optimization and EDI systems, focusing on gathering requirements and providing technical support for automated processes to enhance the client's e-procurement capabilities. + Coordinate with 3PL providers to optimize logistics and supply chain operations for the client. Harness SAP SRM's integration capabilities to maintain visibility into inventory levels, shipment statuses, and supplier performance metrics across the supply chain, supporting the team's efforts to improve overall supply chain efficiency. + Leverage SAP SRM's workflow capabilities to enforce approval processes and maintain audit trails in procurement activities, ensuring the client's compliance with regulatory requirements. + Contribute to training initiatives for procurement staff and end-users on SAP SRM, Bid Evaluation and Optimization, EDI, and 3PL systems. Assist in creating training materials and conducting sessions to ensure proper utilization of procurement tools, supporting the team's efforts to enhance the client's system proficiency. + Partner with finance and accounting teams to streamline procure-to-pay processes for the client. Utilize SAP SRM's integration with financial systems to maintain data consistency and facilitate accurate reporting, focusing on gathering requirements and providing technical support for seamless financial integration. + Analyze procurement performance metrics using SAP SRM's operational reporting capabilities to support the client's decision-making processes. Develop reports on key performance indicators, cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance with federal procurement regulations, aiding the team in delivering valuable insights to the client. + Stay abreast of emerging trends in procurement technology and federal acquisition regulations to support continuous improvement. Provide insights on opportunities to enhance procurement processes and system upgrades, ensuring the client's procurement practices remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices. **Qualifications:** **_Required:_** + 10+ years working in U.S. federal acquisition regulations and procedures + 10+ years of experience managing procurement processes with SAP SRM or similar role, with a strong background in SAP systems and modules. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. + Strong client-facing skills, with a proven ability to manage relationships and expectations with internal and external stakeholders. + Experience managing multiple releases in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset. + Must be a US citizen **_Desired:_** + SAP S/4 experience + Experience managing SAP upgrades + Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, tools, and practices. + Experience with release management tools and processes in a global organization - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
