SAP Program Manager
We are seeking an experienced SAP Program Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of our global SAP implementation project, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This role will involve working closely with finance, IT department, other internal stakeholders, and external implementation partners
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of SAP program phases, releases, and components to ensure successful delivery.
+ Manage program level status, metrics, issues, and risks, and oversee the overall completion and sign-off on program deliverables.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to define program objectives, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
+ Build and maintain proactive formal and informal communication/relationships with key stakeholders, including finance, IT, other stakeholders, and external partners.
+ Lead and manage cross-functional teams, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to achieve project objectives.
+ Ensure effective program oversight, including engagement, program and project reviews, and serve as a mentor to project managers.
+ Collaborate with project managers in the management of overall resource allocation and capacity planning for the SAP program.
+ Manage consulting resources from strategic implementation partners and externally contracted team resources.
+ Monitor program performance, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
+ Manage and resolve escalations effectively, ensuring smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
+ Ensure delivery of the SAP program within budget constraints, and manage program financials, including forecasting.
+ Track project costs and timelines, reviewing status reports to share with relevant stakeholders.
+ Adhere to PMO governance standards, communications, and schedules.
+ Lead and manage SAP governance committees, ensuring end-to-end program reporting and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management.
+ Coordinate and manage end-to-end integration activities with various SAP modules.
Essential Skills
+ 8+ years in SAP project management, including extensive experience in ERP and SAP implementation
+ Experience in the (Re)Insurance industry is REQUIRED
+ Experience in delivering software in enterprise environments.
+ Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong understanding of SAP solutions and modules, IT quality management, and program/project management methodologies.
+ Bachelor's degree in finance or IT-related field or equivalent work experience.
+ Proven track record of successfully overseeing the implementation and integration of SAP solutions.
+ Ability to effectively manage and resolve client escalations.
+ Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
+ Proficiency in key program management knowledge areas such as Program Management Lifecycle, Benefits Management, Program Governance, Stakeholder Management, and Integration Management.
Work Environment
The role is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility in managing work-life balance while leading a complex global SAP implementation project at a large multi-national (re)insurance company.
This is a 12 month+ consulting role that will go 2025- 2026.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $100.00
