We have an opportunity for an SAP S/4 Basis Administrator to join our SAP Technical Services team in Golden Valley, MN. You will be instrumental in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of our SAP systems. You will provide comprehensive global support for our SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, ensuring seamless operations and optimal system performance. The role requires a combination of technical skills, experience, and knowledge to effectively manage and support multiple SAP environments.

You will:
Perform SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, and other supporting systems. This includes performing system health checks, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.Perform regular system maintenance, patch applications, and system upgrades across SAP system environments. This involves monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability and reliability as well as supporting the setup and maintenance of connected third-party applications.Provide technical support to users, handle system refreshes, client copies, and review/application of SAP security notes, including supporting Transport Management and Batch Management processes.Provide evidence of processes used related to SAP Basis work when needed. Participate in internal/external audits, providing documentation and evidence aligned to SAP Basis processes.Work closely with various teams, including IT infrastructure, software developers, and business users, to ensure the SAP system meets the needs of the business, including participating in projects and initiatives for new business requirements and/or new acquisitions.Key Qualifications:
Have earned a bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree.Have 5+ years of experience administering SAP S/4 HANA on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, which will include at least one S/4 implementation and multiple S/4 upgrades. Experience with both on-premises and cloud solutions.SAP S/4HANA Database administration and management experience. Experience supporting High Availability and Disaster Recovery systems for SAP.Ability to develop good working relationships with leadership, business sponsors, business partners, technical staff, and external resources.Travel:
Occasional travel, no more than 10% of the time.Compensation:
For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as annual incentive bonus.
