SAP S/4HANA Program Manager – Utilities -Greater Toronto Area
Job description:

The SAP S/4HANA Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA projects within the Utilities domain. This includes project planning, scheduling, execution, and financial oversight while ensuring successful delivery aligned with business objectives. The role demands excellent client communication, strong leadership to manage onshore and offshore teams, and meticulous reporting skills.

Key responsibilities:Plan, schedule, and execute SAP S/4HANA implementation projects in the Utilities sector, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans.Lead cross-functional teams, including onshore and offshore resources, to achieve project milestones and objectives.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns to ensure client satisfaction.Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly status reports, covering project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.Manage financial aspects of the project, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring cost efficiency.Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate when necessary.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to the Utilities sector.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery processes and outcomes.Facilitate change management and end-user training to support the seamless adoption of the SAP S/4HANA solution.Required Skills15 years of experience in managing SAP projects, with extensive expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations.Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.Deep understanding of the Utilities industry, including regulatory requirements and business processes.Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, execution, and financial management.Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating diverse teams, including onshore and offshore resources.Exceptional client communication and stakeholder management skills.Hands-on experience in preparing and presenting project reports, including status updates and financial summaries.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid models.Ability to identify and manage project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
