SAP Sales & Distribution Consultant Job Description What is the job about? The main purpose of this role is to serve as an SAP system consultant responsible for implementing SAP functionality in the Sales area for Grundfos Water Treatment. This includes setting up, supporting, customizing, and implementing solutions to enhance business efficiency and maximize the use of core applications, with a focus on the Grundfos WT S/4 HANA system (Italy Water Treatment Solution). Key responsibilities include: • Supporting the S/4 HANA public cloud solution for GWT (Grundfos Water Treatment Solutions Italy). • Participating in preparatory activities for merging with the newly established Grundfos Water Treatment S4 HANA private cloud solution. • Contributing to the rollout of the SAP S/4 HANA Private Cloud solution to other subsidiaries and other Water Treatment companies, including providing consultancy on SAP setup. • Continuously supporting the solution and driving initiatives to utilize various functionalities in SAP S/4 HANA. This role offers a significant opportunity to make a high impact, as it involves defining the future template for the Sales area and inspiring the business to leverage SAP functionalities. You will join a dedicated SAP team responsible for the SAP Solution and its rollout. The Application Consultant will also provide advisory services and be involved in application design, development, implementation, and integration, ensuring complex application consultancy by collaborating with business partners for custom system solutions within an application area. Your main responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and maintain global SAP Sales solutions in line with IT architectural principles and guidelines. Take ownership of the SAP Sales area and its solutions for Grundfos Water Treatment Solutions Italy. • Provide consultancy, advice, and best practices for Sales IT solutions. • Support Sales solutions by managing support tickets. • Address and implement continuous business improvement requests to support business growth and enhance efficiency. • Participate in testing and implementing new functionalities during solution upgrades. • Shape the future roadmap, execute it, and drive the development and deployment of existing and new solutions, ensuring a future-proof setup. • Delivering high-quality Sales solutions by understanding and collaborating with the business, while adhering to standard solutions and guidelines. This involves balancing business needs with system possibilities and making informed recommendations and decisions. • Utilizing technical expertise and skills, combined with a solid understanding of the business, to collaborate effectively with colleagues and relevant partners across IT and business to deliver optimal solutions. • Take part in defining and documenting a comprehensive template for the Water Treatment Sales area. • Successfully implementing ERP Sales solutions in alignment with the established roadmap. • Maintaining close cooperation with colleagues across IT and business on a global scale. Taking ownership of assignments and initiatives, and actively contributing as a member of the SAP Team. Your background We imagine that you have: • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant with a proven track record. This experience should include familiarity with SAP Sales and Distribution solutions and working at a company utilizing multiple SAP modules and solutions, or as a consultant with relevant experience. Knowledge and experience with SAP FSM, CRM systems, or other SAP modules is considered a plus. • Alignment with Grundfos Values, demonstrating Customer Centricity, Accountability, and Collaboration as key behaviours. • Strong communication skills, with fluency in written and verbal English. • Proficiency in Italian or French is also considered an advantage, but not a must. • Proficiency in IT. • Excellent collaborative skills. • Structured, self-driven, and proactive approach. • Ability to work independently. • Commitment to continuous learning and researching. • Focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations. • Expertise in applying technology and specialized knowledge.
