Summary
Reporting to the Manager of SAP Technical Services, the SAP security Analyst works closely with business and application teams, responsible for managing SAP security configurations, ensuring compliance with security policies, and supporting users with access requests on SAP and non-SAP systems on-premises, cloud modules and delivering of SAP and ERP solutions that meet the CRD’s organizational needs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations. Conduct regular audits of user access and security settings to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand security requirements and provide solutions. Monitor security logs and reports for unusual activities or security breaches. Assist in the development of security policies, standards, and procedures. Provide training and support to end-users on SAP security best practices. Participate in SAP system upgrades and migrations, ensuring security measures are in place. Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues in a timely manner. Collaborates with system users to document, review, analyze, and evaluates business systems processes, and provide recommendations for improvement. Develops SAP security framework to ensure all organization objectives are met and solutions work as expected. Assists user(s) with the use and adoption of system changes, including preparing process documentation and training materials, conducting training sessions and providing support after go-live. Collaborates with SAP application team and business stakeholders to understand their business needs, define and collect business and system requirements. Transforms business and system requirements into detailed system design and technical specifications. Collaborates, and contributes in all phases of the systems development life cycle (design, development and testing) including the technical analysis, design and development of new modules to meet business requirements. Analyzes and resolves complex problems which may include analyzing business and technical needs and provide solutions for cloud integration and relationships between modules. Liaises with business and IT staff to ensure project deadlines are achieved. Collaborates with SAP, external consultants and cloud solution providers for project and ongoing operation support. Collaborates with IT Service desk, SAP application team, and IT users across all CRD divisions to determine requirements and to resolve complex problems. Follows all policy, procedures and standards of the CRD. Performs other related duties as required. Additional Information NoneKey Skills & Abilities Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and customer service skills are required. Proven experience as an SAP Security Analyst or similar role. Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including role design, authorization management, and user administration. Experience with Fiori and SAP S/4HANA security Experience with SAP BTP, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Single sign on, AD integration Knowledge of security protocols, best practices, and compliance regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders, technical and non-technical staff and external partners to understand and document business requirements. Demonstrated understanding of financial principles and practices as related to working in an integrated ERP System. Ensure that SAP security aligns with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS controls Provide expertise and support in the transition to SAP S/4HANA, including experience with SAP RISE or SAP private cloud environments. Strong focus on SAP cloud security management, including securing cloud-hosted SAP environments (e.g., SAP BTP, SuccessFactors) and integration with cloud security tools (e.g., Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID) Experience with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), SAP Security Automation tools, and automation of security audits and role management. Collaborate with compliance, legal, and audit teams to ensure SAP systems meet all regulatory and data privacy requirements. Understanding of project management methodologies and processes with the ability to complete projects on time. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with stakeholders, technical teams, senior management and other co-workers. Ability to coordinate work of those over whom one has no direct authority High level of proficiency and experience with MS office tools. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and respond to request in a timely manner.
