Join our newly established Global SAP Enterprise Platform Team, a dynamic group responsible for managing the platform services of all SAP applications. Our team oversees a wide range of critical functions, including architecture, testing, cutover activities, license and contract management, Basis, security, and controls, among others.
Our diverse team is composed of Ford employees, agencies, and purchase service resources spread across the EU, India, Mexico, and the US. We manage several major SAP applications such as Integrated ERP (I-ERP), Part Supply and Logistics (PS&L) in Europe, North America and IMG, and various other applications like VFS, REMAN, and GLADS. Additionally, we are excited to be launching new applications like Material Resource Planning (MRP, formerly CMMS3) and Ford Component Sales (FCS).
Our SAP landscape is extensive, encompassing multiple modules and technologies. We operate in diverse environments with varying hosting strategies, including S4/Hana on GCP, on-premises, ECC, S4/EWM, FI, SCM, CRM, MM, TM, GRC, Solman, and more.

The posted position will be part of a new Shared Service team for SAP Security and Controls across all SAP applications based our of Mexico.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
In this role, you will be part of the Shared Service team for Security & Controls to support the dedicated Security teams. You will help to create a new Mexico based team by not just helping the dedicated teams, but also streamline process across the various SAP applications and identify what work packages can be easily transferred to the Share Service team.
You will do SAP Security and controls work like:
• Administration of SAP GRC configuration, rule sets, workflows and approvers for user provisioning, emergency access and access recertification
• Setup and support Sync jobs (Repository, Auth, FF Log , Action Usage)
• Troubleshoot day to day authorization related issues by analyzing SU53/traces
• Work with internal and external auditors, SOD analysis and SOX compliance
• Perform user access reviews (UAR) by configuring necessary workflows and parameters
• Support Fiori app access to users
• Work closely with dedicated Basis & Security teams and support
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking an experienced professional with a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (a Master's degree is a plus). The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in SAP Security & Controls.
The candidate must be adaptable, willing to continuously learn, and stay updated with the latest SAP trends. This role requires the candidate to be based in Mexico, working closely with global teams in Chennai, Germany, and US.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP Security & Controls.Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of SAP Security & Controls, including roles, authorizations, and compliance.Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.Adaptability and Learning:
Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies, with a continuous learning mindset. Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP technologies.Language:
Proficiency in verbal and written English is required & verbal German is a nice-to-have.
