Job Summary: 

ABAP Developer is a technical role which will require hands on developments to support the business analysts and wider project requirements, Daily support for global sites is required in order to fix issues if needed and enhance the already existing procedures. Analysis and documentation of complex coding, This highly skilled position has an emphasis on delivering accuracy and quality work. The Senior ABAP Developer will have a good business background and be able to communicate and understand the business requirements related to the developments for both implementation and support.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will be:

Support the project life cycle and share a point of view with expertise Support daily sites and provide ABAP solutions Quality documentation. Creation of detailed technical specifications. Participate as required in internal and cross work stream design, implementation, testing, master data to internal and cross work stream design, implementation, testing, master data to support the business Execution of development activities across multiple sites  Support the business analysts with ABAP developments, interfaces, data conversion, enhancements, user exits, form design Support the wider business with any external non-SAP interfaces Ensure that development activities are progressing according to the business requirement and issues are identified, raised, and mitigating actions taken Provide development expertise on design and deployment issues Provide development expertise on support issues Drive consistency and a high level of quality Support the SAP Analysts with the local master data requirements and assist the overall master data manager on data related support issues Participate as an active member of the ABAP team and developer communities of practive Be an active member of integration, work stream and support end user testing both on preparation and execution as required Coordinate and complete workstream activities: ** Ensure that all activities are progressing as planned, identifying and addressing any delays or issues. Coordinate and complete system testing & regression testing:** Maintain the highest quality standards through detailed testing. Follow Emerson processes, policies, and procedures: Ensure all activities align with our standards of excellence.

For This Role, You Will Need:

10+ years SAP experience including multiple cycles of SAP implementations Strong ABAP development experience in FICO, SD, PP, MM, IM/WM, VC modules SAP experience across multiple countries and languages Must be able to communicate written and verbally in English to a high level Guide ABAP development capabilities and experience Excellent teammate and Solid understanding of the business Good communication and time management skills with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities Experience with Agile/Dev Ops preferred Ability to work effectively within a heavily matrixed organization. Strong analytical ability and process orientation: Capacity to handle complexity and work independently. Collaboration in a global environment: Demonstrated capability to coordinate and align with various collaborators. Ability to explain ideas clearly and effectively. Outstanding social skills and ability to establish relationships and collaborate effectively. Comprehensive understanding of SAP architecture and Extensively worked on interactive reports and ALV Strong experience in BAPI, BADI, ABAP object programming, Multiple data migration projects, strong LSMW skills and experience and IDocs, EDI etc and experience in ABAP workbench tools Excellent trouble shooting and debugging skills and Some experience with inter-company design/implementation Experience with the integration non-SAP programs and Experience in master data design considerations Must be willing to work in different Time Zones based on Business need

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as MIS, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience. Good interpersonal skills in English, both spoken and written, as you will work with an overseas team.
