McCain Foods is accepting applications for a SAP Specialist position, to work a 12-hour night shift at the Burley, Idaho plant. The SAP Specialist Manages/Tracks/Scans all SAP documents in the production department to reconcile materials issued to the process work orders while carrying out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Accountabilities:
Performs and documents material issuing for current Process OrdersCommunicates Process Order and Batch Number to all OperatorsMonitor, collect and reconcile all data tracking sheets for each process order and record data in SAPMonitor and coordinate organization of all totes in freezer inventory, including reporting, issuing and cycle counting each shiftCycle Count all materials before process order starts and again at end of process runDisposition all rework tickets for current shiftMonitor and correct all FIFO issues (first in first out sequence of materials) Accurately and timely enter all information into computer tracking system (SAP)Input Metal Detector checks in SAP software systemMonitor all materials in the staging warehouse to ensure correct usagePerform Mock RecallsAudit Colos records and Americold reconciliation (8-hour checks), investigate and correct any discrepanciesRun Sync report each shift, investigate and correct discrepanciesRun Negative Inventory report each shift, investigate and correct discrepanciesAnticipate potential issues and communicate with Supervisors to ensure smooth plant operationsAssists Operations Specialist in final closing of process ordersPerforms job functions with minimal supervisionCommunicates any problems or changes in working environment to appropriate personnel.Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operation.Actively participates in the continuous improvement process, such as MDI events.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
One year certificate from college or technical schoolOne year related production and process flow experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Skills:
Must have the ability to write simple correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. May require the ability to interpret bar graphs and data

Shift Differential Pay: +$1.50/hr.
