Welcome to SAP’s Student Training & Rotation (STAR) Program, an SAP globally-run, integrated work-study program designed for students in their final 12+ months of undergraduate studies. The STAR Program provides students with invaluable hands-on experience across various business functions while completing their academic studies.

 

This paid, rotational program allows students to explore diverse roles and gain real-world exposure to key business areas such as account management, solution sales, customer success management, channel and partner management, services and implementation and more. The STAR Program offers a head start for students looking to build careers in leading tech companies like SAP, positioning them for early success in the industry.

 

As a STAR student, you will have the opportunity to:

Rotate across different business units within our Customer Success (CS) and Customer Services and Delivery (CS&D) organisations. Receive on-the-job and structured development, mentoring and coaching from our managers and leaders. Get paid to work full-time during school breaks, part-time during the academic year, or full-time over a semester to gain course credit. Learn from our experienced mentors and start building your professional network early.

 

At the end of the program, successful participants may have the opportunity to:

Be considered for full-time job opportunities within the business that challenge and grow your current capabilities, Or admission to our prestigious, globally recognized SAP Academy Programs, providing further career development opportunities.

 

What will SAP STAR students be doing?

STAR students will complete at least three mandatory rotations across key SAP business areas. You’ll explore roles such as:

Sales – Engage as trusted advisors, working with clients to deliver impactful solutions to their challenges. Presales – Provide pre-sales support by developing presentations, product demos, and materials to help drive business growth. Customer Success Management: Work with customers to ensure they are fully supported throughout the lifecycle of their SAP solutions, ensuring customers achieve maximum value from their SAP solutions. Channel Partner Management – Support SAP’s Channel Partners with training tools and resources, enabling them to successfully sell and implement SAP solutions. Services & Delivery - Ensures that customer projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the business objectives throughout the entire implementation lifecycle.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

STAR Program candidates will be:

Studying Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, General Business-related specializations. Students specializing in Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance, or Accounting may also be considered. Have at least 12+ months remaining studies. Are local citizens and currently studying in Vietnam. Strong presence and excellent communication skills in English (additional language is a plus). Have a keen interest in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can address business challenges. Be proactive problem-solvers with a passion for learning, growth mindset and capable of thriving under pressure. Are empathetic team players who collaborate effectively. Bring a broad range of experiences that demonstrate adaptability and versatility.
