SAP Transportation management (TM) Consultant - US REMOTE

Job Description:

Responsible for the full lifecycle implementation of TM 

Job Responsibilities:

Define and manage the deliverables of functional team to meet engagement objectives and budgetBe a hands-on application expert and prepare / review project deliverables (e.g. benefits realization strategy, to-be functional requirements, enterprise structure, business process master list (BPML), business process design document, to-be functional design, baseline configurations (IMG), process maps, control matrices, testing scenarios, user acceptance tests, business process procedures) to ensure they meet project objectivesBuild and maintain relationships with key executives, business personnel, SME and a network of professional organizations or affiliationsUtilize and apply best practices on projects based on experience and in consultation with experts; appropriately tailored for the client and their cultureEstimate total effort for the application team within the area of expertiseLead design workshops with the client.

Mandatory Requirements:

This position will support our client who is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). It involves access to information subject to ITAR. Due to urgent timelines and immediate placement needs, individuals selected for this position must be U.S. persons. U.S. persons include U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs), and certain classes of protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), including Asylees and Refugees7+ years of SAP experience as an SAP implementation consultant in the areas of LE-TRA/WM and SD5+ years of SAP experience as an SAP implementation consultant in the SAP Transportation ManagementMust have done at-least 1 full life cycle of SAP Transportation Management implementation in S/4 HANA and 2-3 implementations in SCM TMS.Must be thorough with configurations in the areas of transportation planning, transportation execution, Cost and freight settlement, integration to SD, EWM and EM for tracking and tracing.Knowledge of data distribution framework and post processing framework (PPF) settings requiredMust have experience in writing functional specifications for WRICEFS/4 HANA TMS Certification preferredMust have experience with SAP S/4HANA System Conversion and Fiori appsBusiness and IT experience with experience in implementing and operating SAP applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivating and be able to plan your own work.Experience in the health care regulated industries a plusMust have experience with SAP S/4HANA System Conversion and Fiori apps.Business and IT experience with experience in implementing and operating SAP applicationsThorough understanding of the multiple SAP modules and the ability to research & apply business best practicesDemonstrated ability to communicate project goals and objectives, project status and deliverables with senior executivesExperience and knowledge of Activate MethodologyStrong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivating and be able to plan your own work.

Education:
 

Bachelor’s Degree in related fields is preferred

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,700.
