Element has an opportunity for an SAR Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the SAR Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. You must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities Provides technical and engineering leadership, and supports the development of new technologies within a local laboratory and potentially across the Element enterpriseAccountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers inlcuding creation and sign off of test reportsAble to oversee and guide problem solving of complicated technical challengesProvides input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customersAssists in the professional development of technicians and engineers within the local laboratorySupport technical leadership to interpret and apply regulations to a variety of cutting-edge technologies Skills / Qualifications
