The Opportunity:
CACI seeks a skilled SAS Developer with a strong background in SAS development, quality assurance, SAS programming, and cloud technologies.The ideal candidate will also have experience with Python, SQL, and familiarity with Git and Jenkins.This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can develop, test, and optimize SAS programs while ensuring data integrity and system performance.Responsibilities:
Ability to work closely with the agile team (project managers, SCRUM leads, developers, testers, UI developers)Develop, test, and maintain SAS programs to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.Perform quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with business requirements.Optimize and troubleshoot SAS programs to improve performance and efficiency.Work with Python and SQL for data manipulation, automation, and integration with other systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAS solutions with cloud-based platforms.Utilize Git for version control and Jenkins for continuous integration/deployment processes.Document development processes, test cases, and issue resolutions for knowledge sharing.Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies in all SAS-related activities.Perform quality control on final reportsProactively annotate SAS codeManages connectivity to data sourcesWork with management to prioritize data needsQualifications:
Knowledge of SAS (9.4 and up) – understand SAS basics, familiar with proc mean, proc sort, and mergesAbility to read and write and modify complex SAS programs for reporting; any experience with macros is a plus (BASE SAS programming; SAS Macro programming)Experience with SQL (any database)Must be able to write and run moderately complex queries using JOINs; experience with SQL server helpful but not mandatoryExperience with Azure GIT Repository and/or writing SAS code using Databricks Notebook is a plusXML - any experience is helpful but not mandatoryHighly prefer five plus (5+) years of relevant experienceMust be able to obtain a NACI clearanceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent plus a minimum five years of related work experience-________________________________________________________________________________________

The proposed salary range for this position is:
