Job Description:

   

SASE APJ Sales Director is responsible for Strategic Sales Planning & Implementation - Provides input to developing strategic sales plans that reflect the company's business strategy to advance market share/penetration and achieve profitable growth.

This role will lead the APJ overlay sales organization focused on SASE solutions, including SD-WAN and SSE. You will be responsible for setting the direction and managing the deliverables of the assigned sales team and achieving revenue and expense objectives. You will take complete ownership of developing and executing sales strategies tailored to the APJ market to drive pipeline generation and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead the APJ overlay sales organization focused on SASE solutions, including SD-WAN and SSE.Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the APJ market to drive pipeline generation and revenue growth.Build strong relationships with internal sales teams, partners, and the channel community.Own and manage sales forecasting for the APJ SASE business including close collaboration with country sales managersFoster career growth and professional development of the APJ SASE organisation through performance review and reward planning activitiesPosition secure connectivity and cybersecurity solutions to customers, showcasing Unified SASE capabilities.Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape for SD-WAN and SSE in the APJ region.Drive awareness and credibility for the organization as a leading SASE vendor.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align go-to-market initiatives.Ensure consistent messaging and value proposition for SASE solutions across diverse APJ markets.

Education and Experience Required:

University or Bachelor's degree, advanced university or Master's degree preferred.5-10 years of sales and progressive management experience.10-15 years of industry experience.Demonstrated results in growing a business or expanding a market.Fluency in English is a requirement, with additional languages relevant to the APJ region not required but highly regardedTravel within the APJ region should be expected for onsite participation at customer/partner engagements and security-focused events (up to 25% - 50%)

Knowledge and Skills:

Proven experience in senior sales roles within the network and security industry, with a focus on APJ.Deep understanding of the APJ network and security market, including SD-WAN and SSE trends and competitors.Strong expertise in positioning secure connectivity and cybersecurity solutions.Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate overlay sales teams.Experience working with channel partners to drive sales opportunities.Ability to adapt sales strategies and management styles to align with cultural differences across the APJ region.Track record of driving pipeline generation and achieving revenue targets.Knowledge of the competitive landscape for SASE, SD-WAN, and SSE in the APJ region.Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.Experience building credibility as a trusted advisor and Unified SASE vendor.Familiarity with go-to-market strategies for secure access and cybersecurity solutions.Strong analytical skills for monitoring market trends and competitor activities.Ability to lead and execute regional sales strategies effectively.Proficiency in working across diverse teams and geographies in APJ.
