Sylvan Learning is the industry leader in providing supplemental education to children in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. We are seeking smart, dynamic individuals to work with our high school students on preparing for the SAT and ACT. Math, Reading and Writing tutoring of individual students from elementary school through high school is also available.

In this role, you will be delivering our proven curriculum to students at our Sylvan Learning Center in individual and small group format. Evening and weekend availability is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage and motivate studentsManage small group teaching environmentTrack and manage individual student performanceCommunicate progress and results to the Center DirectorEnsure students achieve their highest possible test scores

REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS preferredKnowledge of SAT and/or ACT test structure and strategiesPrevious teaching or training experience preferredEvening and weekend availability required

Availability Preferred:

 

Available Instructional Hours (regular hours all year):

Monday-Thursday 4:30-7:30

Saturday 9:30-12:30

 

June 3rd-August 3rd 2024 added Instructional Hours:

Monday-Friday 9:30-12:30 (mornings)
