**Description**
Applied Research Solutions is seeking a SATCOM Process Engineer. The Engineer will perform work that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of system engineering within SATCOM, Nuclear, and software intensive system environments.

**Responsibilities Include:**
The individual shall be able to:
+ Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
+ Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
+ Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, and modifying manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
+ Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
+ Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
+ Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
+ Perform process simulations.
+ Manage cost and time constraints.
+ Perform risk assessments.
+ Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

**Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:**
+ Must be a US citizen
+ Active Secret Security Clearance
+ Advanced Engineering degree preferred, and 5 years must be in the DoD, OR a BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, of which 5 years must be in the DoD, or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, of which 8 years must be in the DoD.
