As a Federal Acquisition Management and Program Strategy Professional at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need to ensure that their mission succeeds. This is an opportunity to impact our country’s defense acquisition and contract process. On our team, you’ll use your knowledge of defense procurement, satellite communications technologies, and industry to develop and recommend innovative acquisition strategies for major satellite communications service initiatives. You will use your knowledge of mission engineering, operations, analytics, and organizational change to drive improved operational efficiency and operation in alignment with program acquisitions.

 

You’ll lead market research, devise cost recovery solutions, complete procurement request packages, and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll deliver meaningful acquisition support. You’ll work with client leadership to identify and defend program strategies and to drive more efficient and effective business operations.

You Have:

10+ years of experience with lifecycle management for major federal government acquisitions in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) requirements

Ability to work onsite in Maryland and Virginia

Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

5+ years of experience with acquisition, engineering, or management of satellite communication services programs

5+ years of experience with mission engineering or strategy

2+ years of experience with organizational change or process improvement

Experience working with Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) programs

Knowledge of policies for establishing and funding DWCF programs

Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills

Top Secret clearance

Master’s Degree

Certified Cost Estimator and Analyst (CCEA) Certification, International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) Certification, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
