Position classification Onsite -- Job duties and expectations require employee to be regularly scheduled onsite. + Description + Benefits + Questions What Success Looks Like In This Job Under the direction of the Human Services Deputy Director, the Satellite Office Coordinator provides oversight of daily operations for the human services satellite offices, including the Aurora Service Center, Brighton Workforce Center, and Head Start Locations. This role coordinates security efforts, staffing coverage, equipment, budget, and overall office functions while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. The Satellite Office Coordinator ensures departmental efficiency, monitors workflows, and implements innovative processes that align with strategic goals and organizational priorities. This position is critical to ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of human services satellite offices, incorporating elements of risk and safety management into daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic and service-oriented environment. This is an on-site position requiring hands-on operational oversight of physical locations. Examples of Duties for Success + Collaborate with the Deputy Director to manage the operational responsibilities of satellite offices and recommend and enforce policies and procedures. + Proactively monitor equipment needs at each location, addressing shortages or operational gaps to maintain productivity and service quality. + Direct the implementation of any necessary changes and special projects. + Assess customer traffic and service delivery methods, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. + Evaluate and revise office policies and procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and appropriateness. + Partner with other Adams County departments, such as Risk/Security, Fleet & Facilities, and IT & Innovation, to coordinate and execute solutions effectively. + Respond promptly to operational challenges and emergency facility-related situations during and after business hours to minimize disruptions. + Act as the primary communication liaison for satellite locations, ensuring clear and consistent messaging, timely updates, and alignment with strategic goals. + Support budget development and strategic planning efforts. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate operations with existing county functions, including performance management, employee wellness, and safety initiatives. + Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, clients and vendors. More Qualifications for Success + Experience: Five (5) years of extensive public contact experience. Including technical experience that provides familiarity with EBT and/or public assistance programs. + Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, behavioral science, or a related field may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis. + Preferred Qualifications: + Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred. + Professional certifications in operations or office management are a plus. + Ability to travel to various locations using a personal vehicle. + Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. + Must pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check.
