SUMMARY
The Meat Manager is responsible for all aspects pertaining to meat department operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; maintaining daily conditions which maximizes sales & profitability growth, maintaining the sanitation standards, ordering, cutting and controlling inventory and expenses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote customer service satisfaction 100% of the time.Develop and execute daily plans designed to maximize sales, variety and profitability growth.Receiving, invoicing, maintaining NFI-Save A Lot pricing structure, shrink control and inventory levels.Follow & maintain department safety programs and sanitation standards.Develop effective daily/weekly work plan based on sales projections and budgeted labor goalsMaintain high standards in quality, cleanliness, stock levels, pricing and overall daily conditions.Communicate effectively with Director of Ops, Perishable & Store Director, Associates and Customers.Follow all Health Code guidelinesFollows all store and department policies and proceduresFollows all safety policies and procedures; is a safety role modelOther duties as assignedKEY ATTRIBUTES

Responsible for the overall direction of the meat department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include planning, executing, and organizing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; orSix months to one year related experience and/or training; orEquivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
