We are currently seeking a Saw Filing Superintendent to join our team In this role, you will oversee our saw filing activities on a regional basis and support the safety, quality, reliability, and production that willresult in world-class performance among sawmills.
The Saw Filing Superintendent will support Weyerhaeuser’s lumber facilities in Plymouth and Grifton, NC and will be able to travel throughout the supported region. This position will report to the Plymouth Mill Manager.
To be successful in this role, the Saw Filing Superintendent must have expertise in safely filing and maintaining band saws and circle saws; machine alignment; maintaining saw filing equipment; and preventive maintenance procedures, including the ability to inspect equipment for signs of wear/damage and recognize unsafe conditions.
Key Functions
Oversee the saw filing activities within the supported region of Plymouth, NC and Grifton, NC. Compensation:This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $86,742 – $142,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% or 10% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
