**Description:** Aerotek is looking for Saw Operators in the Naugatuck, CT area for an immediate job opening. This company specializes in the distribution of various aluminum, brass, copper, and stainless steel products such as plates, sheets, bars, tubes, and extrusions. **These Saw Operators will be working across different departments completing some of the following tasks:** + Operate saws used to cut products to order specifications. + Measure material using calipers, micrometers and tape measures. + Constructing standard and non-standard crates, skids, and boxes using powered hand tools. + Retrieve material according to work tickets and verifying location, size, alloy, quantities and heat/lot. + Deliver material to designated areas using a forklift, side loader, and overhead crane. + Preparing orders for shipment using scales and strapping equipment and applying appropriate shipping tags. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Warehouse or Production experience + Flexible to cross train and assist in multiple departments + Strong mechanical aptitude + Reliability and punctuality + Forklift operation experience is a plus **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
