**Description:** 2nd shift Saw Operator 3 pm - 1 am, M-Th, OT on Fridays. Pay starting at $18/hr Operate or tend woodworking machines or other machines including saws, drill presses, routers, contour banders, lathes, planers, and wood molding machines Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Receives daily production list and priorities from Plant Manager Inspect stock for imperfections or to estimate grades or qualities of stock or workpieces Start machines, adjust controls and may make trial cuts to ensure that machinery and CNC program are operating properly Load material into machines, produce products according to blueprints, oral or written instructions, drawings, or work instructions Perform 1st piece inspection prior to releasing for full production Periodically perform inspections as needed throughout the production run Stacks completed workpieces on pallets or in boxes so that they can be moved to next work station Perform general and preventive maintenance on machines and keeps work area in clean orderly condition Cleans dust collection systems Follows safety rules and safe work habits **Skills:** Machine operation, Saw operation, Production, Blueprint, Drill press, Bandsaw, Tape measure, Industrial **Top Skills Details:** Machine operations **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** Must Haves: - 1 year saw operation experience **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
