**Job Overview:** Adecco is seeking a **Saw Operator** for our client in Fredericktown, OH, specializing in **structural steel** . In this role, you will operate saws to cut structural steel components, read mechanical drawings, and ensure quality standards are met during the manufacturing process. **Key Responsibilities:** + Read and interpret mechanical drawings for structural steel components. + Set up and operate saws to cut structural steel according to specifications. + Optimize cutting sequences and monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy. + Perform routine maintenance and keep the saw area clean and safe. + Conduct quality checks on steel parts to ensure compliance with specifications. **Required Skills:** + Knowledge of mechanical drawings, steel cutting processes, and saw machines. + Strong understanding of structural steel dimensions, tolerances, and layouts. + Proficient in mathematical calculations and problem-solving. + Attention to detail and good communication skills. + Valid driver’s license required. **Education/Experience:** + High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience in steel cutting or related fields. **Work Environment:** + Shop environment with PPE required (per OSHA standards). + Exposure to moving parts, fumes, and varying temperature conditions. **Physical Demands:** + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have good vision for close work. **Why Adecco?** At Adecco, we offer opportunities for career growth in a dynamic industry.
