Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

This position is responsible for stocking, measuring, and cutting raw stock in accordance with machine specifications. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and company safety standards while maintaining production quality and quantity as scheduled. The role includes operating precision measuring equipment and performing maintenance or repair of installed or new equipment as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesStock, measure, and cut raw stock according to machine specifications.Maintain compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and company safety standards.Build or manufacture items to drawing and bill of material to meet production schedules.Use precision measuring equipment proficiently.Perform maintenance and repair of installed or new equipment.Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain good housekeeping.Assist in other departments as needed.Resolve manufacturing problems in consultation with supervisors, engineering, and production personnel.Report shortages of parts, tools, and materials in a timely manner.Operate power and material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.).Use computer systems effectively.Work with both metric and inch measurement systems.Submit daily time accounting and payroll information as requested.Inventory, inspect, mark, and store raw material in assigned locations.Pull, cut, and deliver raw material according to production schedules, drawings, and cutting sheets.Essential SkillsProficient in saw operationBlueprint readingOverhead crane operationForklift operationAbility to use precision measuring equipmentComputer literacyAbility to work with metric and inch systemsAdditional Skills & Qualifications1 year of experience in saw operating (Preferred)1 year of experience in blueprint reading (Preferred)Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position operates on the first shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of extrusion blow molding machinery, serving industries such as automotive, dairy/food/beverage, and apparel. The work environment includes operating in a structured and safety-conscious setting, with the use of power equipment and material handling equipment.

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $41600.00
