Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Saw Operator position with an Erie, PA based company.  This is a 1st shift position with a pay range of $18-22/hour depending on experience. This is a long-term opportunity with a very solid company.  

 

Saw Operator/Material Handler

Shift: 1st shift 6am-:30pm or 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday 

Pay Range: $18-22/hour

Job Duties

Operate Horizontal Saw Operate Shear Cutting Machine Carry out preventative maintenance of cutting department equipment/machines Operate Overhead Crane Operate Fork Trucks Candidate Must have the ability to: Work Daily and on time Know all the functions and features of cutting department equipment/machines and cranes Load and unload machines Deburr, pack and ship parts Perform first piece inspection an in-process inspections Aptitude for Geometry, Algebra and Trigonometry Identify and use of appropriate measurement tools Communicate effectively with other operators and assistants Learn from and follow directions from supervisor Complete all required paperwork Assume safety policies are strictly adhered

Education equivalent to completion of the 12th grade or (1) one -year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
