Sawmill Operator – Swing Shift
A well-established and fully integrated forest product company, proudly rooted in the Flathead Valley, is looking for a Sawmill Operator. Their operation encompasses everything from sustainably managing their own timberland to running their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Schedule: Monday through Thursday – 1:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., 4 - 10’s
Swing Shift Pay: $23/hour
Essential Functions and Duties: Safely and efficiently operate a machine center in the sawmill, to manufacture logs into lumber boards Monitor equipment and lumber flow to prevent production interruptions Perform manual tasks, including sorting, stacking, and moving lumber Assist with basic maintenance tasks Follow all safety protocols and guidelines Maintains a clean work area daily
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, preferred Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, required Knowledge of lumber quality and grades, preferred Experience operating machinery, preferred Able to physically perform labor duties Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
