Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 to $21.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)Operate and Maintain saw area in a production environment.Follow job instructions to cut and process saw orders.Perform a first article inspection on all orders.Ensure saws are clean and well maintained.Maintain consumables and request replenishment as needed. Troubleshoot saw and equipment problems.Ensure parts meet company standards and customer expectations.Accurately and consistently complete paperwork and properly enter data in production system.Sawyer Qualifications:
1 + year of working in a wood shop experience preferred, or equivalent such as trade school graduate.• 1+ year of running any type of saws. The ability to lift sheet goods of various weights into the saw. MUST be able to ACCURATELY read a tape measure & set up saw stops. Preference given to someone with experience in steel & aluminum materials. Verify setting by measuring positions, first run cut verification of all parts.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
