We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the Sazerac House with a focus on cultural leadership, transformative team management, and operational excellence in this innovative branded experience. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep commitment to fostering a positive and dynamic work culture, exemplifying superior people leadership skills that inspire and elevate their team to deliver world-class visitor experience. This role requires an individual who can blend strategic oversight with a strong business sense to build the business and increase the number of visitors at Sazerac House. 

 

Create and execute long-term strategic plans that align with the Sazerac House’s vision and goals. Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and sustainability.  Drive revenue growth through creative marketing, community engagement, and effective pricing strategies.Manage resources efficiently, including personnel, inventory, and facilities, to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction. Enhance the retail experience to also improve the business's profitability. Promote professional development initiatives by mentoring staff to reach their full potential, while fostering a sense of pride and ownership in their work. Demonstrate the ability to identify and assess talent to build a successful team that embodies the Sazerac culture. Additionally, develop a workforce staffing plan that accommodates a significant part-time employee population.Cultivate a high-performance culture by leading with empathy, integrity, and transparency. Inspire and motivate a diverse team, fostering an environment where creativity, collaboration, and personal growth are prioritized. Address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and grace, turning challenges into opportunities for enhancement.  Innovate and evolve the guest experience, leveraging feedback and industry trends to continually improve offerings.Embrace and promote the values and mission of the Sazerac House, ensuring they are reflected in every aspect of our operations and guest interactions. Lead initiatives that celebrate and incorporate Sazerac brands into the guest experience, maintaining authenticity and relevance.Conduct PDS reviews with direct reports to enhance skills and performance by utilizing PDS as a tool for effective performance discussions, providing consistent skill evaluations, recommending actions and strategies, and measuring progress. Encourage the broad adoption of PDS and identify number one skill for development with manager annually.Develop and implement policies that align with the organization's values and promote operational efficiency. Enhance the retail experience to simultaneously improve customer satisfaction and increase business profitability.Embody and promote the values and mission of the Sazerac House, ensuring they resonate through every facet of operations and guest interactions. Drive initiatives that celebrate and integrate Sazerac brands into the guest experience, ensuring authenticity and relevance.  Lead by example, demonstrating elevated professionalism in all interactions with team members, guests, and stakeholders.  Ability to assess talent to develop a winning team, that embodies that Sazerac culture.  In addition, put together a workforce staffing plan that considers a large part time employee population.Oversee all operational aspects, including managing the P&L, to ensure that the Sazerac House operates efficiently and upholds high standards of quality and service. Develop and enforce policies that align with the organization's values and promote operational efficiency.  Manage resources effectively, including staff, inventory, and facilities, to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction.  Increase the retail experience, which will also enhance the profitability of the business.Cultivate a high-performance culture by leading with empathy, integrity, and transparency.
