As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role. **Job Description:** The **SBA Loan Specialist II** is responsible for assisting with SBA loan origination in accordance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, as well as the Standard Operating Procedures of the US Small Business Administration. The job requires knowledge of loan closing requirements, with an interest in researching and applying the requirements of the SBA standards and credit policy for all loan structures and ability to evaluate and execute with some guidance. This is a Remote career opportunity. **Monday-Friday** 8:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time **Depth & Scope:** + Researches within SBA Standard Operating Procedures and credit policy and applies findings to various transactional situations, adhering to both SBA eligibility and bank policy + Assists in managing the SBA loan pipeline from origination through closing in accordance with Bank policies and procedures, as well as SBA Standard Operating Procedures + Reviews documentation submitted to support lending transactions + Orders and reviews searches and other required due diligence + Serves as a SBA point of contact to support departments + Works independently and handles loan disbursements, ensuring all documentation is policy-compliant and adheres to SBA guidelines + Assists in obtaining information needed for loan requirements checklist + Establishes and maintains relationships, as applicable, with Business Development Officers, Credit Management, operations teams and others, as needed + Acts as liaison with Bank Counsel, Compliance Dept, ABL, Derivatives, CREA, and other various parties to the loans, as needed + Assists with collection of all required loan conditions (insurance, collateral, etc.), ensuring that they are sufficient and properly documented in compliance with Bank policy + Ensures deadlines are met + Assists with upload of complete and accurate loan documentation; may follow up for missing information; addresses any exceptions + Partners with Closing Specialist team to ensure that loans are funded and booked accurately and timely + Participates in special projects and performs duties, as required **Education & Experience:** + 4-year degree or equivalent experience required + 1-2 years of commercial loan closing experience + Ability to build a working knowledge of SBA, federal and state regulations and UCC and banking regulations + Excellent documentation skills + Excellent knowledge of Banking Systems + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, Access and other Microsoft products **Who We Are** TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
