The role of SBU CoE Controller is primarily to provide financial guidance and strategic analysis to drive change and execution in given SBU and location. This position manages all financial channel activities including the monthly closing cycle, reporting, building weekly/monthly estimates and the development of the annual plan.
Key Responsibilities
Support the SBU business commercial and marketing teams Challenge the business by delivering insightful analysis of the numbers and scenario modellingUnderstand the commercial competitive environment and influence the decisions making processResponsible for all reporting for SBU and location as well as the calculations of key metricsAnalyze, interpret and communicate monthly financial results including deviation analysis, explanation of performance drivers/opportunities and key metric reporting Preparation and presentation of monthly customer P&Ls including overview of account profitability including customer rebate agreementsProvide any ad hoc analysis as required by sales management of various levels. This includes customer profitability, margin analysis, contract analysis, etcPlanning, preparation, and implementation of the annual budget process and Independent Merchant customers Monthly closing process - coordinate activities to ensure results are accurate and explainableWorks with business to develop ACTs for all tinting machines loaned to customers In addition, there will be ad-hoc Projects and work as requiredQualifications
The candidate must hold a relevant degree and a recognized professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA / ACCA / ACABusiness and commercially aware, ideally with experience of working in a commercial environmentSelf-motivatedAble to work without close supervision and use their own initiativeGood inter-personal skills such as the ability to build good working relationshipsTeam player with an eagerness to learn and growStrong organisation skills, ability to prioritize, manage time and work under pressureDiligent and strong ability to deal with prioritiesGood knowledge of MS Office, specialist in ExcelExposure to PPG IT systems (HFM, Essbase, SAP, BeX)We Offer
