40Summary:
The Fetal Nurse will work along with the Fetal Cardiologist to provide all necessary support to the Fetal Program. This could include assistance with scheduling and coordinating upcoming appointments, participation in the Fetal Echocardiogram appointment, providing teaching, emotional support, and tours, as necessary; follow up arrangements, as well as postnatal involvement and support to the family continuing at birth through discharge.
Qualifications:
Current RN license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
Bachelor's Degree required
CPR - BLS required; ACLS, PALS preferred
1 year experience required
Prefer 2 years' experience in pediatric cardiology or obstetrics
Skilled in communication, by demonstrating excellent interpersonal and verbal skills, including consumer and physician relations
Experience with program development and management
Innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task
Exhibits sensitivity to individuals with varied backgrounds and cultural considerations
