Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking an SCA Travel Clerk 3 to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP).  This position may be based out of any of our program sites:

Camp Atterbury, Indiana

Camp Dodge, Iowa

Fort Chaffee, Arkansas

Gowen Field, Idaho

Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania

Fort Leavenworth, Kansas

This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.

Responsibilities:

Provides travel, administrative, and operational support to 6 Mission Training Complex (MTC) sites plus the headquarters location in McLean, Virginia

Performs travel planning, travel coordination, and travel reimbursement tasks

Works independently with minimum supervision and develops solutions for problems of moderate scope and complexity

Liaises with the program manager, site leaders, operations lead, and multiple stakeholders in travel accounting

Assists the cost administrator and operations lead with over and above work order requests, project scheduling, and statistical reports

Serves as the Northrop Grumman One Badge Local Registration Authority (LRA)

Serves as the point of contact responsible for administrative/HR policy updates, processing new hires and exiting employees, corporate credit card applications, and FEDEX shipment processing for the ARNG MCTSP MTCs and any sub-sites

May provide Security backup of the MTC Security Window during exercises/events

This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position with applicable SCA rate and health and welfare benefits.

Basic Qualifications:

One of the following:

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of finance and/or business administration experience

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of finance and/or business administration experience

Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of finance and/or business administration experience

Must possess a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook minimum)

Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)

Must be able to work on-site at one of the following program sites:

Camp Atterbury, Indiana

Camp Dodge, Iowa

Fort Chaffee, Arkansas

Gowen Field, Idaho

Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania

Fort Leavenworth, Kansas

Preferred Qualifications: 

At least 2 years of experience using CONCUR Travel system

Previous LRA knowledge

Salary Range: $18.39 - $23.94

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
