The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a SCADA Engineer to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa.
The key responsibilities of the SCADA Engineer include, but are not limited to:
+ System Development:Design and develop SCADA and MES systems using Ignition’s Perspective application.
+ Project Implementation:Build and implement solutions for production planning, work order picking, tool tracking, material tracking, and scrap/reject ticketing.
+ Customization:Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and customize the Ignition platform to meet operational needs.
+ Collaboration:Partner with cross-functional teams, including automation engineers, IT staff, and production managers, to ensure seamless system integration.
+ Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes and drive efficiency using SCADA and MES technologies.
+ Learning and Growth:Continuously learn and apply best practices in SCADA and MES technologies, with a focus on Inductive Automation’s Ignition software.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ Strong interest in SCADA systems and manufacturing processes.
+ Eagerness to learn Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform.
+ Basic understanding of programming concepts (Python, SQL, or similar languages).
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred:
+ Familiarity with Ignition’s Perspective module.
+ Experience in manufacturing, automation, or MES environments.
+ Knowledge of industrial control systems, such as PLCs and HMI software.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
