Exciting SCADA Engineer Opportunity!! Job Description As a SCADA Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Power Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. You will work closely with our clients to ensure the smooth operation of their power infrastructure, providing technical support and resolving issues in a timely manner. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, SCADA software, and excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities + Install, configure, and commission SCADA systems for power distribution and generation facilities. + Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, database management, and system backups. + Monitor SCADA systems for performance issues and troubleshoot hardware or software problems as they arise. + Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement system upgrades or modifications. + Provide training and technical support to end-users on SCADA system operation and maintenance. + Conduct site visits to assess equipment condition, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions. + Document all activities, including installation procedures, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting steps. + Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while working in field environments. + Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends related to power SCADA systems. Essential Skills + Proficiency in SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, GE Proficy, Siemens WinCC). + Strong understanding of PLC ladder logic, scripting, and protection relay configuration. + Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, VBA, and Python. + Experience with communication protocols like Modbus or DNP. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. + Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. + Previous experience working with Power SCADA systems in a field technician role is highly desirable. + Willingness to travel to client sites and work outside of normal business hours when necessary. + Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
