SCADA Technician

Summary: Seeking a SCADA Technician to install, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for power distribution and generation facilities.

Job Requirements:

Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred

Previous experience with Power SCADA systems in a field technician role is highly desirable

Proficiency in PLC ladder logic, scripting, protection relay configuration and familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ or Python

Familiarity with SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, GE Proficy, Siemens WinCC)

Must have personal vehicle for local travel

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of electrical systems and components

Ability to train up or accommodate earlier career individuals

Job Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and commission SCADA systems

Perform routine maintenance tasks including software updates and system backups

Monitor SCADA systems for performance issues and troubleshoot problems

Provide training and technical support to end-users

Conduct site visits to assess equipment condition and recommend solutions

Document installation procedures, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting steps

Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while working in field environments

Stay informed about emerging technologies related to power SCADA systems



Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
