Miller Brother Staffing in York, PA has the immediate need of an experienced Scale Buyer/Cashier for 1st shift.  

Shift- 7 am to 3 pm M-F and 8am to noon Saturday’s as needed, roughly 1 or 2 Saturdays a month-
Pay rate- $16.50/hour
3 most important things -Comfortable working in the outdoors (cold, heat, snow rain) Experience with sit down forklift operation. Reliable to show up to work!
Job Description Will be assisting customers come in with miscellaneous metals to be weight (copper, brass, aluminum etc) Weigh scrap, pay customers, answer phone, handle in-bound and out-bound trucking. Must have the ability to learn to operate equipment and willing to learn other tasks. Person must be reliable, organized, self-motivated, able to multi-task, have good customer service & communication skills and have basic Excel and computer experience. Must be able to handle money, easily lift up to 50 lbs., bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time. Retail or counter sales a plus. Will be assisting weighing the items and informing retail manager on weight so person is paid correctly Sitdown forklift will be used to help move material and be processed after it has been weighed Must have experience with Sitdown forklift. Must have customer service capability and will be working with various customers all day. Fast paced environment (goal is to get their products weighed, get them paid and out the door) Will be working outside in ALL elements, rain sleet snow cold and heat Looking for someone long term!
