This position will perform a variety of operational, recordkeeping and clerical tasks.     RequirementsWeighing and ticketing customer trucksWork cooperatively with sales dept & dispatch in DallasUnderstand customers’ needs and requirementsAnswer incoming telephone callsCash sales – document, verify & accurately fill out checks for customersResearch problem tickets and properly document findingsConvey any known customer needs and/or complaints with the appropriate peopleMaintain files for truckers insurance, tax exempt certificates, and overload permits.Assist administrator and manager as requiredOther duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to meet customers and project friendly, cooperative, and positive attitudeHigh School Diploma or equivalentKeep work place clean and organizedSome knowledge of legal weights & measures helpfulExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompetent operating normal office equipment - copiers, fax machines, adding machines, computers, printers, etc.Excellent attitude towards safetyService oriented and a team playerMust be able to prioritize work load in an efficient mannerProficient with personal computer applications such as Microsoft OfficeMust be able to sit at a computer approximately 10 hrs a dayMust be able to bend, stand, and crouch in order to handle files and related paperworkMust be able to communicate over CB and two-way radioAbility to work nights and weekendsAbility to climb stairs as high as 6 feet
