Scalehouse Operations Supervisor

Apply today for a career that makes an impact and helps make a difference in your community! + Supervise daily operations and assigned staff. + Submit reports and technical information for the functions associated with scalehouse operations and staff so that information is achieved and recorded properly in the County’s financial system. + Responsible for ensuring daily deposits are made, accounts are billed, and customer payments are current according to policy and guidelines. + Interact with citizens and customers, to advise them of policies and procedures and/or develop solutions to issues. + Manage assigned staff by developing schedules, providing guidance, and handling performance management when necessary. + Responsible for the scales and associated hardware and software systems that are utilized with scalehouse operations. + Responsible for payment systems and associated hardware and software systems that are utilized with scalehouse operations. + Manage proactive assessments of fraud awareness, prevention, detection, and risk mitigation activities in area of responsibility; oversee financial, compliance, operational, and performance audits; review audit findings and ensure appropriate controls are established and implemented. + Responsible for the procurement of products and services needed for successful scalehouse operation, including the development of work scopes for the solicitation process. Work Hours: + 40 hours a week + Monday - Saturday, Flexible scheduling + 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. About You Minimum Qualifications: + A High School Diploma or its equivalent AND f our (4) years of experience in a field related. + -OR- a two (2) year associate's degree AND two (2) years of related experience, including supervisor experience in a field related. + -OR- a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university AND one year of related work in a related field, including supervisor experience in a field related. + One year of supervisory experience. + A valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: + Coursework in accounting. + Knowledge of scale and software operating systems. Physical Demands: May occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. About Everything Else Starting Pay Range: $57,179.20 - $60,000.00, based on years of experience.
