SUMMARY
The County Market Scanning Coordinator duties include but are not limited to providing genuine customer service, providing customers with accurate prices and 100% scanability, gaining product knowledge and working in a safe manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction Perform implementation of price changes for warehouse and DSD itemsEnsure that prices are correct and go into effect in a timely mannerMaintain batches/batch paperworkCommunicate and resolve price discrepanciesMakes and enters changes in computer systemsMaintain E Verification reportSign making for all departmentsMaintain in-store deal tracking systemWeekly price changesHandle pricing issues for total storeMaintain shelf tagsRequest tags/deletions using proper procedure Create pricing records for new productsWork within company programs, policies and proceduresFollows all store and department policies and proceduresFollows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role modelOther duties as assigned by supervisor
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises associates in Scanning Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appr aising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Or one to three months related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The associate frequently is required to walk. The associate is occasionally required to stand; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to vibration. The associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
