SCAT Supervisor

You can be part of that success story.** **Job purpose** Management responsibility of Regional SCAT (Synthetic Catalyst Activity Test) lab and instrumentation in Devon Quality group. Includes planning and execution of capital and minor projects to improve testing ability, subject matter expert for EFA (efficiency factor apparatus) rig maintenance and problem solving, lead on inspection and management of lab quality and performance measurements. **Principal accountabilities** + Collaborates with Lab Manager, lab supervisors, and Development leadership in the definition, planning and execution of projects targeting the improvement of the labs' capabilities and OEE + Support the equipment upgrades and new equipment installation in the SCAT Lab + Provide technical resource and assistance to SCAT engineers + Leadership and prioritization of projects in SCAT lab + Develop system to generate capacity planning for all rigs for current and future products + Facilitate local and Global SCAT test method transfers for current and future products + Monitor rig variability and drive projects towards improving rig consistency through MSA and other projects + Promote collaboration between the SCAT lab and the Global SCAT community + Facilitate initiatives for the Devon Operations and Technology Analytical Community Project + Proactively manages the safety, housekeeping and equipment capability and inventories. **Requirements for the role:** + A degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant engineering or science background, technical, scientific knowledge and experience in the testing and application of Clean Air products. + Skill in the logical collation and interpretation of business demands, reactor design, and analytical instrumentation to support novel catalyst development needs. + Strong interpersonal leadership and influential abilities to work with individuals possessing a wide range of skills, knowledge and capabilities. + Demonstrated experience in effective leadership, with ability to coach, develop and engage individuals and teams. + Instill a culture of accountability and effective leadership of change. + Experienced in leading projects/task delivery and good knowledge of how technical areas (product/technology/market) are linked to business needs and commercial issues. + Applies technical expertise with knowledge of business needs and commercial issues to generate solutions for internal and external customers. + SCAT knowledge and experience strongly preferred. + Project management experience strongly preferred. **How you will be rewarded:** We offer competitive compensation and JM Elements benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 20 days annual leave (varies for shift- based roles).
