We are looking for a Scenario analysis, Planning & Consolidation Lead who is eager to join us in our Global Insight 2 Impact (I2I) team, based in our Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

 

About the role

Within the Insight 2 Impact (I2I) group, the Scenario analysis, Planning & Consolidation Lead, plays an important role towards providing transparency about financial and non-financial performance of transversal Research & Development (R&D) units across UCB.

 

Who you’ll work with

 

You will be the main point of contact for I2I PS&PE Heads, I2I Finance Leads and FP&A community working with Patient Solutions Unit (PS) & Patient Evidence Unit (PE) and focusing on understanding and creating the consolidated view of UCB’s Global R&D Investments.

You will also maintain a strong relationship with I2I PI teams to ensure alignment of the processes for planning exercises and consistency for the development of managerial reports.

 

What you’ll do

 

Consolidate information across Patient Solutions Unit (PS) & Patient Evidence Unit (PE) to create a comprehensive R&D overview across UCB.Collaborate with I2I and R&D teams to enhance transparency and innovate performance dashboards.Coordinate scenario development, including risk assessments and deep dives for PS&PE and Global R&D.Contribute to short-term and long-term planning exercises (i.e. Rolling Forecast, Budget, Strategic plans) in coordination with I2I PS&PE teams.Ensure alignment with I2I and GBS teams for consistent planning and reporting processes.Provide Ad-Hoc analyses for UCB R&D activities, asset portfolio, short-terms projections, long-term strategic plans.Facilitate resource reallocation discussions with I2I PS&PE colleagues.Act as a key contact for transversal R&D topics, including reporting, dashboarding, and planning.

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

 

Proven experience of at least 7 years in finance / business development or similar field, preferably in international biopharma company.Strong skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and understanding of business drivers.Bachelor’s degree.Ability to analyze information in detail and then to synthesize, zoom out and create the big picture with key themes/drivers.Ability to anticipate changes and risks and ability to develop proactively alternative scenarios.Problem solving skills.Attention to detail and quality of work.Experience in Planning and Reporting systems (SAP would be a plus).Ability to positively challenge, influence.Good communication and organization skills.Planning and decision making.Self-motivation and success orientation.Ability to work with diverse teams (in different geographies).
