Job Overview:
In this role you will provide comprehensive administrative/operational support to the Bariatric Program. This includes, but not limited to the day-to-day operations such as answering phones, scheduling appointments and surgical procedures, obtaining authorizations/referrals for treatments and imaging. Provide administrative assistance to the physicians, clinical team, Program manager and Director of administration in addition to other patient care issues as directed.

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent RequiredAt least 1 year of surgical scheduling experience required Demonstrates professionalism, superior written/verbal communication and exceptional customer service skills. Familiarity with medical terminology and general medical office proceduresScheduling Requirements:

Answering the phones courteously and in a timely manner Ability to interact with patients in a professional, personable and empathetic manner Maintains chart accuracy in EMR system by ensuring appropriate records are collected and scanned Monitors/Communicates physician schedules Basic knowledge of health insurance including verification of benefits, pre-certification/pre-authorization for imaging and procedures, etc Completes all SSI disability forms and letters of medical necessity Scheduling appointments and coordinating surgeries for the Bariatric program Ability to escalate issues appropriately and timely Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team; offering assistance whenever colleagues are in need Performs all other duties as assignedBenefits and Perks:
