Job Summary:

If you have 4-8 years of experience in planning and scheduling for commercial and residential construction projects, we want you on our team! As a Scheduler, you will be essential to our projects' success. Your role will involve creating and maintaining detailed work schedules using tools such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project. Additionally, you will track issues, analyze data, and report to various stakeholders and clients. This position can be remote, offering flexibility in your work location.

Essential Responsibilities:

Create, organize, and track baseline schedules according to project specifications.Collaborate with the project team to develop and maintain detailed construction schedules.Evaluate, monitor, and report on all scheduled deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and minimize exposure to claims.Provide feedback on the project schedule and work with the team to make necessary modifications.Evaluate construction progress and provide regular schedule updates and detailed reports.Proactively identify and address any issues that may affect the project schedule and assist the Project Manager or Superintendent in managing resolutions.Facilitate planning and execution sessions with construction management and discipline leads.Interface with operations, subcontractors, vendors, and the owner to discuss the impact of work and resolutions for problems or concerns.Develop corrective action plans and mitigation strategies based on schedule and critical path analysis.Prepare and present the basis of the schedule.

Qualifications:

Must have some experience with scheduling commercial projects4-8 years of experience in planning, scheduling, and preparing CPM schedules and detailed progress reports, preferably in the commercial construction industry.Diploma or degree related to Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering, or industry-related trade certification/education.Proficiency in Primavera (P6) and MS Project.Thorough understanding of construction execution strategy.Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol requirements.

Working Conditions:

This is a remote position open to applicants from Western Canada. Candidates must be able to work independently and be able to travel as required.
