About the job:
Kent is looking for a Scheduler with strong P6 experience to support our client in the Channelview, TX area.

You will be responsible for developing and updating deliverables for the project team or Kent functional team across one or multiple projects.Basic Job Requirements Responsible for being the focal point for specific project scopes as a planner and scheduler for multiple projects.Develop integrated, accurate and detailed project baseline plan and schedule in alignment with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS),Monitor and control the baselined plan and schedule using appropriate scheduling techniqueDetermine activity relationships collaborating with respective disciplinary planners, engineers, and construction contractors to create work activity linkages.Monitor critical and near critical path activities and generate daily report during executionAbility to level resources and produce resource histograms for baseline and schedule updatesProvides communication regarding schedule analysis, earned value, managing timelines, measuring progress and generating reports.Prepare and produce progress performance and forecasts KPI’s and submit formal communication of KPI’s as needed.Update the schedule progress, analyze the data for opportunities, identify recovery plans and communicate schedule performance risks.Review change notifications and communicate the schedule impact.Participate in schedule risk analysis In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. Qualification/ Training/ Certification:Diploma holder or higher qualification required. Degree holder preferredMinimum 5 years Planning/Scheduling experience within Oil and Gas IndustryExperience with critical path method analysis/technique with PrimaveraProficient with Primavera P6, Excel and preferably/Power BIProficient computer skills, SharePoint, Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word
