Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a Scheduler to join our team for a significant rail tunnel project in the New York / New Jersey area. 

Role Accountabilities:

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, integrating all project activities, milestones, and dependencies. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to identify project requirements, constraints, and critical path activities to establish an accurate project schedule. Analyze schedule performance, identify potential delays or conflicts, and recommend corrective actions or mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met. Monitor progress against the project schedule, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to project teams on schedule status, risks, and opportunities. Conduct schedule risk analysis, what-if scenarios, and resource leveling to optimize project scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. Prepare schedule reports, Gantt charts, and visual representations of project schedules for project reviews, meetings, and presentations to stakeholders. Support the development of baseline schedules, progress measurement methodologies, and earned value analysis to monitor project performance and alignment to project goals.

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 6 years proven experience on construction projects, preferably with tunneling or infrastructure projects. Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera 6, Microsoft Project or similar tools. 

Key Skills and Abilities: 

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex project schedules and data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of project management principles, scheduling best practices, and construction methodologies.

These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP,  401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement.  We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
