A validation and quality assurance provider are looking to hire a Project Scheduler for a hybrid 6 to 12 months assignment located in Albany, NY. This unique group works to develop and blueprint a universally implemented validation process that reliably achieves quality, affordable and available healthcare products. Hourly rate $40.00   

Technical Skills & Knowledge: Project Scheduling Expertise: Proficient in developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar software. Gantt Charts & Critical Path Method (CPM): Ability to create and interpret Gantt charts, identify critical paths, and manage dependencies. Baseline & Forecasting: Establishes project baselines and updates schedules based on progress, delays, or scope changes. Resource Allocation: Ensures proper assignment of personnel, materials, and equipment based on project needs. Change Management: Tracks and integrates scope changes, ensuring they are reflected in the project schedule. Compliance & Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry regulations, especially in GMP or highly regulated environments.
Soft Skills & Key Attributes: Detail-Oriented: Accuracy is crucial in scheduling to prevent delays and conflicts. Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess project risks, forecast potential roadblocks, and provide mitigation strategies. Strong Communication: Works cross-functionally with project managers, engineers, QA, procurement, and other stakeholders to align expectations. Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipates scheduling conflicts and develops solutions before they escalate. Adaptability & Flexibility: Responds effectively to changes in project scope, timelines, or resources.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Develop and update project schedules based on inputs from project teams. Track progress and ensure tasks are completed on time. Conduct schedule reviews with stakeholders to ensure alignment. Report scheduling conflicts and recommend adjustments. Support project risk analysis and provide scheduling insights for decision-making. Maintain documentation of project schedules, changes, and justifications for audits or compliance.
